Please be advised that Beech Street between Fielden Avenue and Silver Street will be closed for municipal service connection. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 28, 2025 and should conclude by 5:00p.m, Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Local traffic will be able to use the posted detour route.

The City of Port Colborne is recognizing its volunteers with a week of celebrations.

Along with municipalities across Canada, Port Colborne will participate in National Volunteer Appreciation Week from Sunday, April 27 to Saturday, May 3.

In Port Colborne, volunteers play a key role in creating a vibrant and welcoming community. Their commitment allows for a full calendar of annual events, where they work alongside City staff to create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.

The reopening of the Welland Canal means cruise ships will soon return to Port Colborne, and a group of local guides are excited to show their city to the nautical visitors.

Easter Bunny to sail into Port Colborne Saturday, April 19

Easter fun is coming to Port Colborne on Saturday, April 19.

The festivities will begin when the Easter Bunny hops aboard a tugboat on the Welland Canal for the annual Tugboat Bunny event – a tradition that welcomes him to town while paying tribute to the city’s marine heritage.
