Main Street closed between Mellanby Avenue and the Main Street Bridge

The Niagara Region, in coordination with the St. Lawrence Seaway will be closing the Main Street Bridge to facilitate the resurfacing of the Main Street East and Welland Avenue Intersection.

This closure is scheduled to take place Thursday, November 30, and Friday, December 1, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

White Road closed between Second Concession and Highway 3 on November 23

Please be advised that White Road between Highway 3 and Second Concession will be closed Thursday, November 23 while city crews work on an emergency culvert replacement. The City of Port Colborne is progressing with the final stages associated with the rehabilitation of the Vale Health and Wellness Centre. One of these tasks is to re-coat sections of the ceiling with spray foam insulation.

For public safety, this will require the closure of the following amenities while construction takes place:
