The Port Colborne public boat ramp reopens on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 just in time for a beautiful, sunny long weekend.

Watermain Isolation Thursday, May 20, 2021

The City of Port Colborne will be performing a trial watermain isolation on Thursday, May 20, 2021 beginning at approximately 2 a.m. and ending by 4 a.m.

During this trial isolation, the following properties will not have water:

  • 569 Main Street West
  • 575 Main Street West
  • 599 Main Street West

Additionally, depending upon the results of the trial isolation, the following properties may also be without water:

  • 611 Main Street West
  • 615 Main Street West
  • 629 Main Street West
  • 633 Main Street West
  • 639 Main Street West

New Vaccination Clinic Dates Available as Eligibility Soon Expands to 18+

In anticipation of those 18 and older eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccination starting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 18, new clinic dates have now been added into the provincial booking system for Niagara for June 1-5 at MacBain Community Centre in Niagara Falls.

Appointments are also still available at clinics in Pelham, West Lincoln, and Port Colborne in May.

Hydrant fire flow activities happening Tuesday, May 18

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 18, from 7:30 a.m. to end of day, GM BluePlan Engineering Limited, on behalf of the Region of Niagara, will be conducting hydrant fire flow testing in four areas of the City. This testing is being completed as part of Niagara Region’s Master Servicing Plan update.
