New Ward Boundaries (2026-2030)
In March 2026, Port Colborne Council voted to support a reduction in the size of City Council and update the City’s ward boundaries ahead of the 2026 municipal election, based on the 2025 Ward Boundary and Council Composition Review. In May 2026, the Province approved the required regulations which means that Port Colborne voters will elect six City Councillors and a Mayor, instead of eight councillors and a mayor.
