Welland Street Trail and Road Reconstruction

Beginning September 8, 2025, Welland Street from Louis Street to Lake Road will undergo a full road and trail reconstruction project. The work includes minor upgrades to the existing storm sewer, replacement of the road base, curbs, and sidewalk, as well as the addition of a new multi-use trail along the west side of the road. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2025. During this period, Welland Street will be closed to through traffic, and detour routes will be clearly posted.
