Temporary closure of access to Hwy 140 through Chippawa Road beginning January 8, 2026

The City of Port Colborne advises residents and motorists of a temporary road closure to accommodate construction work associated with the East Side Employment Lands Project.

Access to Highway 140 via Chippawa Road will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting today through January 23. The roadway will remain open on weekends. Motorists are asked to plan alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during this work.
