Filming for the television series entitled “Ruby Road” Season 5 will be occurring in Port Colborne July 7 and 8, 2022. “Ruby Road” tells the fictional story based on the best-selling novel about a totalitarian society in what used to be part of the United States.

Location support will be set up at the following locations:

  • 11 King Street; and
  • 12 King Street.

The preparation, filming, and wrap schedule is as follows:

  • Preparation: June 27 to July 7, 2022, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Filming: July 7 and 8, 2022, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
  • Wrap: July 9 to 14, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Tents will be built in the 12 King St lot, beginning at 7 a.m. on June 27, 2022, in anticipation of upcoming filming activity the night of July 7 and 8, 2022. Starting July 9, 2022, the tents in the lot will be tore down – being completely unoccupied by July 14th.

The 11 King St Lot will be reserved for basecamp trucks, beginning July 6, 2022, at 7 a.m., in anticipation of trucks arriving the following morning, July 7, 2022, around 6 a.m. Upon completion of filming, trucks will depart the neighbourhood at approximately 4 p.m., Sunday July 10, 2022.

Note: There will be heavy traffic in this area and the public is asked to avoid the area during the above times unless necessary to access a place of residence or business.
