Movies in the Gym 
On Saturday, March 15 at 5:30 p.m., join the City of Port Colborne and YMCA of Niagara at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre for movies in the gym! March’s movie is Elemental (PG). While these flicks are perfect for all ages, parental guidance is recommended for our youngest viewers.

Families are invited to drop by the library anytime during March Break to participate in exciting daily activities, complete the scavenger hunt, and take home a fun craft anytime between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Children’s programs for ages 5 to 7 
Brock University’s Let’s Talk Science will visit the library on Wednesday, March 12 to offer two free activities. Pre-registration is required.Call the library at 905-834-6512 to pre-register. 
  • Matter Matters from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 
  • Investigating Polymers from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. 
Teen programs for ages 13 to 17 
  • Tuesday, March 11, visit the library between 3 and 7 p.m. to game with our Nintendo Switches.Race against friends, go on an adventure, or build a world – there’s a video game for everyone at the library. 
  • Thursday, March 13, unleash your creativity to complete a challenge, follow a pattern, or use your imagination to design something new. 
Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum 
Captain Hook is looking for new recruits for his band of Neverland pirates, and you're just what he's looking for! But first, you'll need to learn the ways of the pirate. Complete all four pirate take-home activities and join Captain Hook's ranks at a pirate party!  
From March 10 to 13, pick up four days of take-home activities. Then, on Friday, March 15, attend the drop-in pirate party from1 to 3 p.m. at the L.R. Wilson Heritage Research Archives.  
This activity isfor children ages 5 to 12. The cost is $10 per child. All materials are included.
