Main Street West Closed for Railroad Crossing Replacement on July 7, 2026

The City of Port Colborne advises residents and motorists that Main Street West (Regional Road 3), between King Street and Mellanby Avenue (Regional Road 3A), will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, July 7, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow Niagara Region to complete a railroad crossing replacement.

During the closure, motorists are asked to follow the posted detour route via King Street, Killaly Street West (Regional Road 5), and Mellanby Avenue (Regional Road 3A). Please note that emergency services will not have access through the closure.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes where possible.
