Main Street closed between Mellanby Avenue and the Main Street Bridge

The Niagara Region, in coordination with the St. Lawrence Seaway will be closing the Main Street Bridge to facilitate the resurfacing of the Main Street East and Welland Avenue Intersection.

This closure is scheduled to take place Thursday, November 30, and Friday, December 1, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Motorists should follow the posted signs to detour around the closure. Motorists will still be able to use the intersection to detour to the middle bridge. Please note that businesses in the area will remain open during the closure.
