Back to SearchConstruction on King Street, from Clarence Street to Charlotte Street, is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 5 and continue through late November.
The project will include the replacement of sidewalks, trees, curbs and roadway. Prior to construction, City staff will remove existing trees, benches and garbage cans from the project area.
During construction, parking and traffic impacts will change as the contractor moves through different phases of the project. Residents and visitors are asked to follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the area.
Businesses will remain open throughout construction. When construction equipment is operating near a business entrance, please check with a nearby construction worker before entering the area. This helps workers know you are there and allows them to safely guide you through the work zone.
The City appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents, businesses and visitors while this work is completed.
