The world-famous music of the Fab Four will come alive as Canada’s top Beatles tribute band – The Caverners – visits Port Colborne Friday, Aug. 29.

Beginning at 7 p.m., these longtime Port Colborne favourites will rock the bandshell at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park in the latest edition of the City of Port Colborne’s free Community Concert Series, presented by Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Canada.

Since their debut in 1994, The Caverners have showcased one of the most famous song catalogues in rock and roll, with the band taking audiences on a magical mystery tour while they twist and shout to timeless tunes.

From the mop tops of the early days to the psychedelic sounds of Sgt. Pepper and beyond, the all-Canadian band brings the full Beatles experience to life – note for note, costume for costume, with audiences left screaming for more of their favourite classics.

Concertgoers are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the show, as well as their appetites for barbecue treats from Lemayzzz Meats and popcorn from Lakehouse Décor and Gift Shop.

Those in attendance can also take in an array of automotive excellence on display from the Port Colborne Downtown Cruisers Association, who will be displaying a wide range of classic vehicles in a car show that begins at 5 p.m.

Admission to the Community Concert Series is free with a non-perishable food donation to Port Cares.
