Early bird tickets now available for tall ship cruises during Canal Days

Get ready for an unforgettable nautical adventure this Civic Holiday long weekend in Port Colborne! Early bird tickets are now on sale for a chance to board the iconic 200-foot topsail schooner, the Empire Sandy, during the renowned Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival.

From Thursday, July 31, to Monday, August 4, the Empire Sandy will return to Port Colborne, offering a variety of cruises sponsored by Allied Marine & Industrial and Algoma Central Corporation. Choose from a full-day journey along the Welland Canal or indulge in a two-hour cruise on the picturesque waters of Lake Erie.

Two-hour cruise highlights include the Sunset Cruise, where guests can experience the magic of Lake Erie at dusk, and the always-popular Fireworks Cruise, offering a memorable evening sail under the stars, complete with front-row views of Port Colborne’s annual boat parade of lights and spectacular fireworks display.
