The City of Port Colborne is now accepting applications for the position of Regional Councillor.

Qualified candidates will:  

  1. Reside in the local municipality or be the owner or tenant of land there, or the spouse of such owner or tenant;
  2. Be a Canadian citizen;
  3. Be at least 18 years old; and
  4. Not be disqualified by this or any other Act from holding the office. 

The selected candidate will attend the Niagara Region Council meetings, and the meeting schedule is available for review on the Region's website.

Please submit a copy of your resume describing your qualifications for office and a statement consenting to accept the office if appointed to the position to the Deputy Clerk via email: deputyclerk@portcolborne.ca or via paper at City Hall.

Applicants are required to come to City Hall to present valid government-issued identification as well as to complete a Declaration of Qualifications and a Candidate Release Form.
