2025 City Wide Boulevard Tree Planting

Starting Monday, April 28, 2025, the City will begin planting over 400 new trees as part of the 2025 City Wide Tree Planting Program.

This year’s efforts are focused on Zone 1 of the City’s Urban Forest Management Plan, aiming to rejuvenate aging trees and continue growing a greener, healthier community.

Residents in affected areas were notified via door hangers distributed earlier in March 2025.

Crews will be working throughout neighbourhoods to complete the planting. Please keep an eye out and drive carefully around active work zones.
