The Annual Community Christmas Dinner will be happening this year, although it looks a little different. Instead of gathering at Port Colborne High School, delicious holiday meals will be delivered right to you. If you are alone on Christmas Day or cannot make your own Christmas Dinner, please take advantage of this great opportunity.

On Monday, December 21, from 4 – 7 p.m., Port Colborne Fire & Emergency Services will hand out non-medical masks to Port Colborne residents.  

As part of a generous donation from MedSup Canada to the Niagara Health Foundation, Niagara Region received more than five million non-medical masks for the community. City partners with Port Cares to create more affordable housing

In a unanimous vote at Monday night’s Council meeting, the City plans to donate Chestnut Park to Port Cares to build affordable housing units for the community.

According to a recent study by Brock University, Niagara needs 20,000 more affordable housing units and the wait times are significant.
