Public asked to vote on Port Colborne Lions Field mural design

The City of Port Colborne and the Port Colborne Lions Club are looking for input on a new mural that will be added to Lions Field Park. Residents will have the opportunity to vote on four different mural designs that capture the rich heritage of Port Colborne and the legacy of Lions Field. The mural will be painted on an existing building facing Killaly Street West.

Port Colborne will observe Remembrance Day with two ceremonies on Monday, Nov. 11. 

One ceremony is at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park in collaboration with Port Colborne Branch 56 of the Royal Canadian Legion. The ceremony will take place at the City of Port Colborne Cenotaph for the First and Second World Wars, Korea and Afghanistan from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. The proceedings will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube and Facebook accounts.
