City Council appoints eight citizens and one Councillor to the Library Board. The Board is responsible for library services in our community. It creates policies, ensures that the library has adequate funding, and promotes the library in the community. The Board operates under the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990.

Board meetings
The Board meets at least seven times a year. Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:15 p.m. If you would like to make a presentation, send us your request by email or by mail. Make sure your request arrives at least ten days before the meeting date.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, our regular meeting schedule is changed. We are not meeting in-person until further notice.
