The Kennel Licensing By-law regulates the keeping of dogs in the City of Port Colborne. Properties with more than three dogs, excluding unweaned puppies, must obtain a kennel licence. Kennels must comply with applicable zoning and building by-laws and receive Council approval. The by-law also establishes licensing requirements, fees and regulations for dog ownership.
