The Roselawn Centre was originally built in 1860 as a stately three-story home of Upper Canada Victorian architecture, changing hands in early 1870s and 1900s, and eventually became The Port Colborne Club in 1957.  This facility has been operating as an arts and cultural cente along with a partnership with Showboat Festival Theatre, run by Lighthouse Theatre.

In early 2026, the City of Port Colborne completed a large renovation project for the Roselawn Centre which included the construction of a new exterior and internal accessibility ramps, new washrooms, refinished 70-year-old original hardwood flooring, and new finishings to enhance the heritage atmosphere of this facility.

These renovations have provided residents and visitors with unimpeded access to all areas of the Roselawn Centre to enjoy a truly unique, vibrant, and well-balanced cultural experience.
