The Easter Bunny is hoping into Port Colborne!

Join us on April 4 at 9 a.m. along West Street near the Pilot House as the Easter Bunny makes a grand entrance aboard a tugboat (Seaway traffic permitting). Come cheer on this one-of-a-kind arrival that embraces our city’s proud marine heritage and kicks off a day full of Easter excitement for the whole family.

After the big arrival, head-on over to the Vale Health & Wellness Centre (550 Elizabeth Street) to take part in Vale Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a variety of fun, family-friendly activities.

While this event is free for everyone to enjoy, we encourage guests to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Port Cares Food Bank to help support members of our community.

Event Schedule:

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Outdoor Egg Hunt 

Please bring your own basket and meet City Staff at the side yard at main entrance to the Vale Health and Wellness Centre for some fun. New this year, an egg hunt area for kids 3 and under. There will be loot bags for all participants, while quantities last. 

Note, in case of inclement weather the egg hunt will be cancelled due to space restrictions caused by other activities taking place that day. We apologize for any inconveniences. 
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Printing Press Keepsake with the Port Colborne Museum

Step back in time by visiting the Port Colborne Museum's booth to print your own Easter card using a traditional printing press. Experience historic printing techniques while creating a festive keepsake to take home.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Easter Crafts with the Port Colborne Public Library
Visit the Port Colborne Library's table and get crafty with printables and take-home activities.
 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Face Painting Fun 
 With Niagara Face Painting (air brushing) and Phoenix Fairy Paints (traditional paint).
 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Colouring Contest with Port Colborne Junior Optimists 

Take part in the festive colouring contest presented by the Port Colborne Junior Optimists!

Kids are invited to get creative and bring their Easter masterpiece to life for a chance to win a prize. The contest will feature two age groups (3–5 years, 6–8 years, 9–13+) with one winner selected from each group. All entries will be reviewed by the Port Colborne Junior Optimists, who will choose the winning artwork. Winners will be notified and asked to pickup their prize at City Hall.

It’s a fun way for young artists to show off their creativity while joining in the Eggstravaganza! 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free Family Bounce and Free Family Gym 
 Fun for all ages. Parental supervision is required. Presented by the YMCA of Niagara.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Easter fun with Dena 
Join Dena in the Community Room for a fun and educational hands-on experience! Kids will explore STEM through eggs with engaging activities like "Kids in the Kitchen", egg-anatomy, and get creative while learning about geometric patterns, making this a perfect mix of science, discovery, and Easter fun. 

12 p.m. to 1 p.m. K-Pop Dance Party with Rumi and Zoey

Back by popular demand - get ready to dance, sing, and shine at our K-Pop Dance Party!

Fans of all ages can hang out and dance with Rumi and Zoey from K-Pop Demon Hunters, learn a fun K-Pop routine, and then step into the spotlight to show off your moves. 

A DJ will be spinning awesome music with lights and a custom K-Pop playlist to keep the energy high and everyone moving. Snap epic photos—from group idol moments to fierce Huntrix poses—and celebrate the ultimate K-Pop vibe with friends and fellow fans.

12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Free Community Skate Presented by Port Colborne Quarries Inc. 

Thanks to Port Colborne Quarries Inc. we are proud to present the following free skate at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre. 

All ages are welcome and helmets are required for children & youth, and are strongly recommended for adults.
