April break fun
April Break crafts are now available at the library. Call the library at 905-834-6512 to reserve. You can pick up your kit during our curbside hours. All craft kits have been quarantined for four days and were packed by staff wearing gloves. Instructions and most supplies included (some glue or common household items may be required). Available while quantities last.
There is a limit of 2 crafts per child. Each craft costs $1. Please have exact change ready at pick-up.

Become your family's weather forecaster by learning to read weather patterns just from looking at the sky outside your window. Our travel guide, weather expert David T. Chapman, takes us on a journey literally from the ground up.

Tot time
Tot Time is a one-hour program with stories, crafts and finger plays for children ages two to five. Pre-registration is required. An adult caregiver is expected to stay with the child.
Therapy Tails
Therapy Tails is a fun way to encourage children to read. Every certified Therapy Tails dog is trained to sit quietly and listen while your child reads their favourite story aloud. Therapy Tails can help improve reading skills and enjoyment.
PD Day crafts
During school PD Days, we offer a variety of crafts and activities for children.
Story time with Shelly
Fun, family story time for kids of all ages.
Music makerspace
Reserve your 30-minute time slot in the music makerspace. Music books, stands, and accessories are available. Call 905-834-6512 to book a time.
Class visits
From October to May each school year, we offer class visits for our local schools.
Are you a teacher in the Port Colborne area? Please contact us to register your class for a visit to the library. If you can’t visit the library, contact us and we will arrange to visit you!
Class visits include:
- An introduction to the library
- A tour of the Children's Room
- Story time with a staff member
TD Summer Reading Club
The Summer Reading Club is a great way to keep children and teens reading throughout the summer months.
