The City of Port Colborne is proud of its vibrant culture and marine heritage. Throughout the year we host various events and festivals including Canal Days, Christmas in Port Colborne, New Year's Eve and Canada Day. These events allow us to engage with the local community, invite visitors to experience the very best of Port Colborne, and partner with various stakeholders.
Although events and festivals right now may look different because of COVID-19, City staff are finding creative ways for residents to PORTicipate and promote tourism in the area.
If you would like to plan a special event in Port Colborne utilizing town infrastructure, such as roads or parks you must fill out an Event Application. Our event team will be happy to work with you!

The following roads be closed to parking and vehicular traffic on from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.:
• West Street, from the southern limit of Charlotte Street to the southern limit of the former Public Works Yard (11 King Street);
• Intersection of Kent Street at West Street;
• Intersection of Victoria Street at West Street;
• Intersection of Adelaide Street at West Street; and
• Intersection of Sugarloaf Street at West Street.

Virtual Polar Plunge |
The City of Port Colborne is encouraging residents to virtually PORTicipate in the Polar Plunge, in support of Special Olympics Ontario from February 14 to March 21, 2022. #PlungeON
