City of Port Colborne

The Centennial Pool facility was Port Colborne's 1967 Centennial Project and is located at 124 Janet Street. The pool is open seven days a week.

Patrons from 6 months of age and up can swim, exercise and take lessons.

Our Staff is certified under Red Cross and Lifesaving Society and is in compliance with the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

Our programs are well suited for your individual needs. We offer 5 aquafit classes, 2 during the daytime and three in the evenings. For your convenience and enjoyment, a Recreational Swim time is available either prior to or following the Aquafit session.

We also offer:
-  Red Cross Preschool, Red Cross Swim Kids Program and AquaAdult.
-  Lifesaving Society Program - Rookie, Ranger and Star Patrol
-  Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross.

These programs are operated once a week through the months of September to December and January to April. May/ June as well as July/August, we operate on a twice or three times a week basis. Our lessons accommodate ages 6 months and up.
The Centennial Pool is a zero tolerance facility.
We also offer the advanced training courses in:
- Red Cross Assistance Water Safety Instructors,
- Red Cross Instructors
- Lifesaving Instructors
- First Aid Courses: Basic First Aid - Lifesaving Society
- Emergency First Aid - Red Cross and Lifesaving Society
- Standard First Aid - Red Cross and Lifesaving Society
