City of Port Colborne

We are located at the entrance of the Welland Canal, 15 minutes south of St. Catharines, 90 minutes from Toronto or 20 minutes from the Peace Bridge and Buffalo, NY.

Directions by Car:

From Toronto:
Take the QEW Niagara to Regional Road 24 at Vineland. Take #24 south to Highway #3. Follow #3 to Port Colborne. Turn right (south) on Elm Street to Sugarloaf Harbour.

From St. Catharines:
Take Highway #406 south to Highway #140. Take #140 south to Highway #3. Turn right on Highway #3 (west). Turn left (south) on Elm Street to Sugarloaf Harbour.

From Buffalo:
Cross the Peace Bridge and follow Highway #3 to Port Colborne. Turn left (south) on Elm Street to Sugarloaf Harbour.

Directions by Boat:

42° 51.50'N  79° 15.21'W

Call Sugarloaf Harbour Marina on channel 68 for docking assignment and assistance. Enter the Channel keeping the Lighthouse on your Port side and the Port (Green Pillar) buoy on your Starboard side.

Veer to the West and proceed in a Northerly Direction up Channel keeping the Grain Elevators on your Starboard side and the Concrete Wall on your Port Side.
At the North end of the Channel, take a Port turn and proceed in a Westerly direction to your assigned dock.

The marina office will direct you via radio. Docking assistance is available.
