Flavours of Niagara presents 4th Annual International Food and Wine Festival
July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2010 at HH Knoll Park in Port Colborne
Kite's eye view of Flavours

Fred Taylor attached a camera to his kite and flew it Sunday morning over the International Flavours of Niagara event held in HH Knoll Lakeview Park July 2 to 4. It was a hot hot day he said, and there were so many people, but many took refuge with food and wine under the tents and the trees. Thanks Fred, for sharing a unique view of a unique Niagara event. Fred and kiters from across Canada and the USA will be back in the park Sunday, August. 1 for the Canal Days International Kite Festival. Kites of all shapes and sizes and colours will fill the skies over the park, the same day as thre popular Canal Days Car Show. Both are hugely popular events of the Canal Days Festival, and complement each other so well in the lovely park space adjacent to beautiful Sugarloaf Harbour Marina on Lake Erie, Niagara's South Coast. There will be kite "races" and challenges throughout the day, followed by a grand ascension Sunday afternoon, with hundreds of kites airborne and awesome. The evening before the big day, on Saturday, the kitefliers present a Night Kite Flight, with kites illuminated by spotlights as well as lights attached to kites; a Canal Days festival must-see.
