Chief Administrative Officer

Robert J. Heil

CAO's Message

Communication and transfer of information is an extremely valuable component of good government.  The City of Port Colborne's website is an important tool for the residents and citizens of Port Colborne to stay informed about what is going on at City Hall and in the Community.

Additionally, this website is an indispensable resource for visitors, potential visitors, investors, potential investors, other municipalities, and other levels of government to learn about Port Colborne.

The launch of the City of Port Colborne's new website on January 28, 2009, signals a modernization of the way the City is able to interact.  The new site features ease of use, searching and minimal number of clicks, allows updates on demand, and enables users to sign up to receive emails with updates about the City of Port Colborne.

In addition to retaining the wealth of helpful information from the former website, the City's new website features an updated "look" and a one-stop-shopping experience as it combines five City websites into www.portcolborne.ca.

I am confident that the new website will enhance the City's communication, thereby helping to align our Corporate values by advancing our mission statement "Serving You to Create an Even Better Community".

Robert J. Heil
Chief Administrative Officer
