Building Division
The Building Department is responsible for issuing Building and Plumbing Permits in accordance with the Building Code Act and municipal regulations. You can obtain an application for a building or plumbing permit at City Hall - Second Floor or download an application from this site.

Application for a Permit to Construct or Demolish
It is recommended to speak to the staff in the Building Division before you apply. We can tell you what information, drawings and plans you will have to include with the application and whether you will need any other permits or approvals.
