Pleasure Craft Operators Cards & Boat Registration
Preparing for the 2009 Boating Season at Sugarloaf Marina:
Boating safety and education will take on a new and potentially costly meaning for those boaters that get caught short without a Pleasure Craft Operator Card for the September 15, 2009 deadline. As of that date the fine is $250.00 for not having your card. For personal watercraft users born after April 1, 1983, the regulation is in effect already.
A simple call to Sugarloaf Marina at (905)835-6644 can put you on track for getting your card before the deadline. For seasoned boaters that prefer to self study and are looking for supervision to write their test, appointments can be scheduled throughout the winter and spring at Sugarloaf. For those with less experience and fell more comfortable taking a course, or for the enthusiast looking for a more intensive course there are a few options available that Sugarloaf can also help you with. Courses can be acheduled according to demand - Just let us know, we're here to help.
Information on boating proficiency and pleasure craft operators card is available through SeaTech Marine and the Niagara District Power and Sail Squadron.
